Show 2: Orange County California with Michael Pierson

We love Michael Pierson and so does our audience. Mike is one of the most dedicated ride coordinators that I have ever met. You can always find a plethora of posts on Facebook from him setting up his next ride. He takes the time to guest blog for us and we really appreciate it. Tracy talked to us about the local riding areas in Monterey and Gave us a history of his riding exploits.

Update from Michael Pierson

1. What is the most exciting thing that has happened to you this year?
What could be more exciting that to have people you don’t know and that you’ve never met show interest in what I write! But this year the most exciting MTB things, plural, have been riding Rwanda, and riding the Mid-Mountain trail with my son-in-law Kevin.

2. What has been the largest challenge this year?
The largest challenge was Rwanda. 50 miles of MTB, along with all the training that went into it, was a huge challenge for me.

3. What are you looking forward to?
I had planned on going to Moab, Sedona, and Virgin this fall but we had unexpected problems with the RV so it’s been postponed until late Spring. It’s still the biggest item in my bucket list.

Poetry is the pepper you sprinkle on life to make it interesting… Mike Pierson

2. What has been the largest challenge this year?  I have really struggled with having time to ride. We have had a really wet, rainy summer. It’s pretty flat here and the dirt has some clay areas which take awhile to dry out. It’s been pretty frustrating.
