Gt Fury Expert Downhill Mountain Bike – 2015
GT Fury Expert Downhill Mountain Bike – 2015. If you’re new to the world of downhill riding, you’ve found the gravity sled that makes every ride more fun. The GT Fury Expert Downhill Mountain Bike is designed to be smooth, fast and fun when you point it downhill, and is overbuilt to take pretty much any abuse, and deliver you to the bottom in record time. Whether you’re heading out to Whistler or the local ski hills in summer, you’ll love the 27.5 6069 T6 alloy frame. It’s burly, engineered for durability and speed, and puts you in a position that maximizes performance, control and comfort. A Fox Van RC rear suspension with 210mm of travel and the Independent Drivetrain Suspension System take the sting out of even the gnarliest hits, so you can keep on bombing even when the terrain gets tough. The RockShox Boxxer RC 27.5 fork with Kashima gives you 200 mm of travel and adjustable rebound. Shifting and drivetrain duties are taken care of with Shimano’s Zee 10-speed DH group, featuring the newly redesigned Zee Shadow Plus M640 direct mount rear derailleur and Rapid Fire shifters. A RaceFace Chester crank has a 36T ring to help you get you momentum going again when you start to slow down. Braking is handled by Shimano Zee M640 hydraulic brakes and levers that give you the ultimate in control. The wheels were overbuilt to take the abuse of downhill riding, with 20x110m front thru axle and a Shimano Zee 12x150mm thru axle rear hub. Continental Der Kaiser Projekt tires keep you hooked into the mountain, and the six ply casing helps smooth out the ride and prevent punctures. Finally, steering is handled by a Kore Torsion direct mount stem clamped to a Kore Torsion alloy handlebar, sheathed in grippy and fully cushioned GT Statement lock-on grips. You’ll sit (or rather hover over) a RaceFace Chester seatpost and WTB Silverado Race SL saddle.
